A REPORT ABOUT A CELEBRITY: SKRILLEX

Sonny John Moore, Skrillex, is a very popular DJ, music producer, guitarist, singer and songwriter. He was born in January 15, 1998, in Los Angeles, but he was moving to different places while he was a child because of his parents’ job. In 2004, when he was 16 years old, he joined the post-hardcore and emo band From First To Last. He was the lead vocalist because he had a very great voice. In 2007, the band separated and as a result, Moore recruited a new band lineup and joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer. Later in the same year, Sonny left the band officially because he felt dissatisfied with the work done in his ex-band. In 2008, with his name Skrillex, he started to do performances as a DJ and as result because of his talent, in 2010 he released his first EP titled: ‘’My Name Is Skrillex’’. And later, in the same year, he released the second one: ‘’Scary Monsters & Nice Sprites’’. Because of his big hits and sales, in 2011 he won 3 Grammys. Until today, Skrillex continues with a lot of fans and a successfully career as DJ. In addition, at the beginning of 2017, he released with his ex-band From First To Last a single titled: ‘’Make War’’.
